About Us
I am originally from Burnaby, BC, born and raised. I met my husband there, when he had just moved from Salt Spring Island, that was 15 years ago. After several great years in Vancouver we decided that with 2 small kids it was time to move somewhere quieter. We made that move August, 2009.
After we settled in to a new routine I started trying to plan a business. That's when I formed smalltownchicks.com.
I really felt a need to be meeting new and exciting people and there was a
feeling of segregation over here, it seemed that we are all at the end of a
really long drive way and where do we get an opportunity to meet up and share
ideas? I have an extensive Marketing/Business background and so I naturally
gravitated to this, I am so excited to utilize it again as well as adding
value to other women's lives and connection we all have.
