Small Town Chicks is a membership made up of women in business living in small communities. It is a group that was formed to reflect the need for women on Salt Spring to have a connection with other like minded women. Through different focus groups and brainstorming sessions I learned that women over here feel segregated at times, lonely, they crave some intellectual conversation and from a business aspect they are wanting good information.

My goal with the membership is to provide this great group with the following:

• 4 networking events per year with an amazing guest speaker at each one
• 2 facilitated hands-on workshops
• Exclusive members-only offers and opportunities from local merchants
• Discount on Advertising on Small Town Chicks Website
• Access to the member community

Most of all this membership offers an opportunity for us all to unite as one strong group that can share successes, exchange information, support one another and most important empower one another and boost us up further than we already are!!
