Canadian Singer Songwriter Dayna Manning was born to musical parents in the artistic community of Stratford Ontario. At age 18 she had a major label recording deal for her debut album of entirely original music. Her future held a Juno nod, tour on Lilith Fair, shows with acts like Joe Cocker and Radiohead, and favourable reviews by everyone from Rolling Stone to Billboard. Her three albums to date feature big names in the music business like Sean Ono Lennon and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith. Her guitar stylings are not easily matched and her soaring voice is unmistakable. Ask anyone who has seen Dayna perform, she is mesmerizing.
Ryan has just been nominated for 5 Vancouver Island Music Awards, he has toured Canada 10 times, released 2 full-length albums, 2 EP's, and a live record, seen his music licensed both Nationally and abroad, and heard his music on both commercial and college radio Canada-wide.
Dayna and Ryan are just about to kick off a province wide, eight show tour that includes our very own SSI!

Elizabeth May is the Leader of the Green Party of Canada and one of our country’s most respected environmentalists. She is a prominent lawyer, an author, an Officer of the Order of Canada, and a loving mother and grandmother. Elizabeth named an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2005. In November, 2010, Newsweek magazine named her “one of the world’s most influential women.”
And of course as we all know she made history, in the 2011 Election, by being the first Green Party candidate to be elected to the House of Commons. She now represents the riding of Saanich-Gulf Islands.

Linda currently spends most of her time as a writer in British Columbia, Canada and is past President of the Salt Spring Hospice Board. Linda was named a “cultural creative” by TIME magazine. She served on the Boys & Girls Clubs of America National Think Tank on character and the Advisory Editorial Board for the Spirituality and Ethics segment on CTV National News in Canada. In 2001 she received a Women of Distinction Award from the YW/YMCA. As a psychotherapist, she designed teen suicide and violence prevention programs used in U.S. cities. She consulted to Arthur Young International, Hallmark Cards, Hyatt Hotels, the Inspector General for U.S. Health and Human Services, and General Motors. Among her books are The Family Virtues Guide, The Virtues Project Educator’s Guide, Sacred Moments and A Pace of Grace. Linda has appeared on Oprah and many other television shows, including a national documentary series in Canada: “Virtues A Family Affair.
